由于固着生活,植物一生经常(同时)遭受各种生物与非生物胁迫,为了在复杂多变的环境下成功生存繁衍,植物进化出快速精巧的信号传导网络,同时也合成一些生物活性分子以响应内外环境信号的刺激。随着转录组技术的发展与广泛应用,我们对植物应对单一胁迫的转录调控网络已有深入的了解,但是对蛋白翻译后修饰在其中的功能研究不多,对植物在复合胁迫下的应答机制所知甚少。研究组以拟南芥和华南特色的经济作物/资源植物为对象,主要从事以下三个方向研究:
1、植物与微生物互作的分子机制,重点关注蛋白质翻译后修饰尤其是泛素化和表观遗传调控植物与病毒互作的分子机理;
2、植物对光温、盐碱、贫瘠等环境因子响应,及生物与非生物双重胁迫的信号传导;
3、生物活性小分子,尤其是花卉及果实色素(花青素、类胡萝卜素)合成调控网络。
